OK people here's how it works.  As you may have heard, Colin and Mitch are cousins.  Mitch was born and raised in Colorado and Colin was brought up in New Mexico.  Their first band was a Heavy Metal band called the Irish Clan.  They decided that after making one song that heavy metal was gay and that there would be no Irish Clan.  So, when Colin got back from his trip to Colorado, he was really focused on guitar.  He played non-stop day after day.  On the other hand Mitch was on a hockey trip.  Mitch is a great hockey player as well as a great guitar player.  So, Mitch got into a band called The Hostages.  To this day, he is in The Hostages along with 3 other band members.  Check out The Hostages at hostagepunk.20m.com

Anyway, back in New Mexico, Colin was having trouble finding a band and ended up picking some of the WORST musicians out there.  Courtousy of Colin's sister, Kelsey, Colin bought a bass guitar and had his friend be a bassist.  His other friend had a drumset so he decided to just take him as his drummer.  the only problem was that his drummer was only good at snare.  They called themselves 11:23 and broke-up when the drummer started being a......never mind.  Anyway, Colin had been good friends with a kid named Jarret and turned out that Jarret needed a lead/rhythm guitarist for his band.  So one day Jarret mentioned that he needed a second guitarist who could sing.  Imediatly, Colin said that he was in need of a band.  Jarret had heard Colin play guitar during class and decided that he was the one that the band needed.  Honorable Mention had formed. But, this wasn't over yet.  Colin and Mitch were both into music and hadn't forgot about the Irish Clan.  Colin and Mitch had talked to eachother online and Colin broght up the old band.  Now, they were both into punk and had punk bands of their own.  And Mitch brought up the forming of a new band.  They were both touched by the music of Box Car Racer and realized how cool acoustic guitar really was.  And so, Mitch broght up the idea of an acoustic guitar, a bass, and drums.  Mitch had peviously wanted to be a drummer so the drum set was there!  And that's how the band formed!  Check out more facts around the site!
